Pre‑Session Strategy Summit:
Two days before opening day of Washington’s 60‑day regular session (Monday, January 12, 2026, as set by the Legislature’s “second Monday in January” rule), we will finalize and share BESR’s 2026 priorities. We’ll review the first week’s posted committee schedules and assign testimony roles so students, families, educators, and allies are ready from day one. This meeting also arrives just ahead of Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Weekend—an appropriate moment to center equity, voice, and action.
